2/10/2001 New front stairway at the Temple is having it's
ice thawed out to prepare for the next pouring of concrete.
2/10/2001 Center section of front stairs have been poured and
currently covered with snow and ice from yesterdays storm.
2/10/2001 More stone has been delivered.
2/10/2001 Third story window loading platform for material delivery
period.
2/10/2001 The Temple roof is still open for a short time.
Workers that will start completing the roof have been tied up with a 2002
Winter Olympics project in Utah.
2/10/2001 North side of Temple stone work, well under way!
2/10/2001 A new stone being set in place by the stone masons.
2/18/2001
18 February 2001. A majority of the roof in place.
All but the far right section (East) is covered. Slate will be installed
once the layers of material and insulation are fully installed.
18 February 2001. Stainless steel on the South side of the Temple
is mostly in place, ready for stone.

Spiral stairway for the tower has arrived. 18 February
2001
These stairs will start at the 5th floor attic box and extend to near
the top of the tower.
18 February 2001. Stair rail supports ready on the front
stairway.
The Moroni statue will
be seven feet tall, and will be similar to the one placed on
top of the Reno Nevada Temple.

2/24/01 First section set in place. New spiral staircase can be seen
installed on left!

2/24/01 Tower sections
The
clock tower frame on the Nauvoo Temple has been prefabricated at
another location and is has been delivered. Installation began this
week. The framework is in small sections and will have bolt on panels
that will be installed by crane, after the main framework has been permanently
set in place.
