President Gordon B. Hinckley and his wife tour the completed Nauvoo Temple 4/20/2002
President Gordon B. Hinckley, world leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, took a tour of the Nauvoo Temple Saturday 4/20 at 12 noon for about one hour . This unannounced visit gave the President and his wife a quiet time to look over the beautifully finished Temple. About 20 people were present.
